welcome to CTHS Ranger Regiment!

The below apps are the primary means of communication between band parents, directors and the school.  It's highly encouraged to sign up in order to stay up to date and informed with the many things that go on with band.

• Band App - communications from band parents to band parents.  This is the best way to tap into the band parent community!
• Presto Assistant - communications and calendar updates from Directors
• Parent Square- communications from Chisolm Trail

Rehearsal schedules will be posted in the calendar in Presto Assistant 

Rehearsals run until the official end time, after which students are formally dismissed and return to the band hall to put away their equipment and instruments. This process takes a few extra minutes, so please be patient.

Uniforms will be fitted and issued just before the start of the school year. Days/times will be announced ahead of time.  Returning students will be fitted and issued the same uniform from the year before, provided there are no changes in sizing needs.

Uniforms will never be brought home by the student.  They are kept at the school. Volunteer parents will keep them laundered in between games/competitions, but we need more volunteers to help make that happen. Please sign up on the volunteer page if you're interested.

Students are responsible for their uniform accessories (gloves, water jug, black socks, shoes, etc) and need to bring them during games and competitions.  If they forget an accessory, it would be considered being out of uniform. 

Itineraries for games and competitions will be communicated via Presto Assistant  a few days to a week ahead of time.

On game days, Students will go straight from school to the band hall for rehearsal. They do not go home first.  Students are fed after rehearsal, and before the game. They will not have 3rd quarter off, so it's important that they get their food at this time.

Students are not dismissed from games or competitions until the equipment has fully been put away.  Parent volunteers are always welcome to help with loading/unloading equipment to aid with achieving a faster dismissal time.

Meals that are provided by the boosters is a great way to ensure your student is getting the sustenance needed on game nights and competition days.

Examples of some of the meals that have been provided to the students in the previous year are

• Costa Vida

Dietary Accommodations
If your student requires a specialized meal due to an allergy or dietary restriction, please reach out to ctrrbbhospitality@gmail.com. 

Throughout the year there will be multiple fundraising events going on.  Fundraising efforts go back to the band to support things like scholarships, fees, equipment, etc. Fundraising efforts go towards the overall cost rather than individual student fees.  That said, if we can collectively raise money that benefit the band, we can collectively benefit from that effort.  Keep an eye on the band app or calendar page to stay up to date on the current fundraising projects. 

The success of the band fully depends on parent volunteers. We need volunteers to help with uniforms, props, moving equipment, keeping the students fed, fundraising, and a whole slew of additional services our kids 100% rely on.  It's not only a great way to support your student, but you'll find a fantastic community and support with your fellow band parents by volunteering.
