CTHS Band Boosters Creed & 10 Rules to live by

1. You are now a parent to them all. The moment your child joins the band, your family grows by at least a hundred kids. Treat every student as your own — with love, pride, and care.

2. Honor the name, the sound, and the uniform. Everything we do reflects our band, our school, and our community. Wear that pride with respect, on and off the field. Never bring negativity toward the band, its instructors, or the booster organization.

3. Never give up — ever. Whether it’s rain, long nights, or endless competitions, we stand strong together. The band’s spirit depends on our persistence.

4. Be the hands that lift, not the voices that divide. When things get tough, lend your hand before your opinion. Unity builds legacy.

5. Help where you can — there’s always something to do. A true booster never waits to be asked. From hauling props to serving water, every act of service matters.

6. Eat, stay hydrated and help out. You can’t pour from an empty cup — take care of yourself, too!

7. Always lend a hand when another band is in need. If you see another band parent or student struggling with props, equipment, or short-handed during competitions or home games, step in and help. A small gesture can make a huge difference. Remember — our kids learn from our actions.

8. Be present and hands-on. Show up. Cheer loud. Volunteer often. The band’s success depends on those who show up even when it’s inconvenient.

9. Make memories, not complaints. These years will fly by — fill them with laughter, teamwork, and pride, not regret.

10. We are family — for life. The bonds made here go beyond the years spent at the school. Once a Ranger Regiment Booster, always family.
